Description
A delicious frittata inspired by Ree Drummond’s French onion soup.
Ingredients

- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup Gruyère cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add onions and cook until caramelized, about 15 minutes.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, salt, and pepper.
- Add caramelized onions to the egg mixture.
- Stir in Gruyère cheese and parsley.
- Pour the mixture into a greased oven-safe skillet.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set and golden.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
