Delicious cinnamon buns inspired by Ree Drummond’s recipe.
Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Warm milk and butter in a saucepan; let cool slightly.
- Add warm milk mixture and eggs to dry ingredients.
- Knead the dough until smooth; let it rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough and spread with butter, then sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Roll the dough into a log and slice into buns.
- Place buns in a baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
Notes
- Use fresh yeast for best results.
- Serve warm for optimal flavor.
- Add nuts for extra crunch if desired.
