Ingredients

  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 2 tablespoons mixed herbs (parsley, thyme, rosemary)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, olive oil, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, herbs, and cheese.
  6. Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
  7. Spread the garlic herb cheese mixture over the dough.
  8. Roll the dough tightly and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  9. Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 30-35 minutes.
