Description
Swirled garlic herb and cheese bread is a flavorful loaf filled with garlic, herbs, and melted cheese.
Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons mixed herbs (parsley, thyme, rosemary)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, olive oil, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, herbs, and cheese.
- Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
- Spread the garlic herb cheese mixture over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly and place it in a greased loaf pan.
- Let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 30-35 minutes.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- This bread is best served warm.
