A delicious sweet potato casserole topped with marshmallows and maple syrup.
Ingredients

- 4 cups sweet potatoes, mashed
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the mashed sweet potatoes, maple syrup, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Spread the sweet potato mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Top with mini marshmallows evenly over the sweet potato mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh sweet potatoes for the best flavor.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
