Description

A delicious blend of strawberry shortcake and cheesecake in a simple dump cake.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 package cream cheese (8 oz), softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Spread sliced strawberries in the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  4. Pour cream cheese mixture over the strawberries.
  5. In another bowl, combine cake mix, melted butter, and milk. Stir until blended.
  6. Pour cake mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with whipped cream on top.
  • You can use frozen strawberries if fresh ones are not available.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
