Description
A delicious blend of strawberry shortcake and cheesecake in a simple dump cake.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 package cream cheese (8 oz), softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread sliced strawberries in the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- Pour cream cheese mixture over the strawberries.
- In another bowl, combine cake mix, melted butter, and milk. Stir until blended.
- Pour cake mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream on top.
- You can use frozen strawberries if fresh ones are not available.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
