Description
Delicious strawberry shortcake bars made with ice cream.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 package shortcake biscuits
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix strawberries with 1/4 cup sugar and let sit for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk cream, milk, remaining sugar, and vanilla until it thickens.
- Layer shortcake biscuits in a dish.
- Spread half the cream mixture over the biscuits.
- Add a layer of strawberries.
- Repeat layers with remaining biscuits, cream, and strawberries.
- Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top.
- Freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe strawberries for best flavor.
- Allow dessert to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before slicing.
