Description
A delicious and healthy spinach lasagna packed with layers of cheese and spinach.
Ingredients
Scale
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 jar marinara sauce (about 24 oz)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Add half of the ricotta mixture and half of the spinach on top.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers: sauce, noodles, ricotta mixture, spinach, and mozzarella.
- Finish with a layer of noodles, marinara sauce, and remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes before serving.
- You can add other vegetables if desired.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
