- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and cooked sausage.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
- Fold in cheese and green onions.
- Grease a muffin tin and pour the batter into each cup.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in the microwave for quick snacks.
- You can substitute sausage with bacon or ham.
