A comforting and creamy broccoli cheese casserole inspired by Ree Drummond.
Ingredients

- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, combine broccoli, cheese, sour cream, soup, rice, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Notes
- For a crunchier topping, broil for 2-3 minutes after baking.
- You can use fresh or frozen broccoli.
- Feel free to add cooked chicken for extra protein.
