Description

A hearty and comforting slow cooker lasagna inspired by the Pioneer Woman.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef with onion and garlic in a skillet.
  2. Mix ricotta cheese, egg, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the slow cooker.
  4. Layer noodles, ricotta mixture, ground beef, and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up.
  6. Top with remaining marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  8. Let it sit for 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use no-boil lasagna noodles for easier preparation.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
  • For extra flavor, use Italian sausage instead of ground beef.
