A hearty and comforting slow cooker lasagna inspired by the Pioneer Woman.
Ingredients

- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef with onion and garlic in a skillet.
- Mix ricotta cheese, egg, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the slow cooker.
- Layer noodles, ricotta mixture, ground beef, and mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers until ingredients are used up.
- Top with remaining marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Let it sit for 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use no-boil lasagna noodles for easier preparation.
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
- For extra flavor, use Italian sausage instead of ground beef.
