Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the molasses, sugar, and butter.
  3. Add the egg and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Form into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are firm.
  8. Let cool on a wire rack.
