Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breast, cubed
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (for sauce)
  • Salt to taste (for sauce)
  • Water as needed (for sauce)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  2. Add chicken cubes and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Soak skewers in water if using wooden skewers.
  4. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers.
  5. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Grill chicken skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally.
  7. For the garlic sauce, mix yogurt, tahini, minced garlic, and salt in a bowl.
  8. Add water to reach desired consistency for sauce.
  9. Serve chicken kabobs with garlic sauce.
