- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Stir until combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased muffin tin.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let them cool completely.
- Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Cut the tops off the buns and fill them with whipped cream.
- Replace the tops and dust with powdered sugar.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Enjoy within two days for the best taste.
- You can substitute the filling with chocolate ganache if desired.
