- 8 slices of bread
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup strawberries, chopped

- 1 egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, strawberries, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Spread the mixture onto 4 slices of bread and top with the remaining slices.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, milk, and egg to make a batter.
- Dip each sandwich in the batter, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry sandwiches until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with additional strawberries if desired.
