Description

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 8 oz lasagna noodles, broken
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef with chopped onion and garlic.
  2. Add crushed tomatoes, beef broth, water, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add broken lasagna noodles and cook until tender.
  4. Stir in ricotta cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve hot, topped with shredded mozzarella cheese.
