- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 cups water
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 8 oz lasagna noodles, broken
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef with chopped onion and garlic.
- Add crushed tomatoes, beef broth, water, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
- Add broken lasagna noodles and cook until tender.
- Stir in ricotta cheese and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, topped with shredded mozzarella cheese.

- You can use turkey or chicken instead of beef.
