A creamy cheesecake layered with strawberry shortcake flavors.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed strawberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed shortcake cookies
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed strawberries and sugar. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Add heavy cream and vanilla extract to the cream cheese. Mix well.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine crushed shortcake cookies and melted butter.
  6. Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  7. Pour half of the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  8. Spread half of the strawberry mixture on top.
  9. Pour the remaining cheesecake mixture over the strawberries.
  10. Top with the remaining strawberry mixture.
  11. Bake for 45 minutes. Let cool, then refrigerate for 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh strawberries for better flavor.
  • Allow the cheesecake to chill completely for best texture.
  • Drizzle with chocolate for added taste.
