Description

A hearty and comforting crockpot pierogi casserole with kielbasa.


Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen pierogi (16 oz)
  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Layer half of the pierogi in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add half of the kielbasa and half of the onion.
  3. Sprinkle with half of the cheese.
  4. In a bowl, mix the sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread half of the mixture over the layered ingredients in the crockpot.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining pierogi, kielbasa, onion, cheese, and soup mixture.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until heated through and cheese is melted.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use fresh pierogi if preferred.
  • Adjust the amount of cheese based on your taste.
