Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  4. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  6. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet.
  7. Drizzle cinnamon mixture over pancake batter.
  8. Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden.
  9. For the glaze, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  10. Add milk to reach desired consistency.
  11. Drizzle the glaze over pancakes before serving.
