- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 3/4 cup Marsala wine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Dredge the chicken in flour, shaking off the excess.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the chicken until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Add mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until browned.
- Pour in the Marsala wine and bring to a boil, scraping up any browned bits.
- Add chicken broth and return the chicken to the skillet.
- Simmer until the chicken is cooked through, about 10 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.

- Serve with pasta or mashed potatoes.
- Use fresh mushrooms for better flavor.
- Adjust the amount of Marsala wine to taste.
