- 1 cedar plank
- 2 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill (optional)
Instructions
- Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Brush the salmon fillets with the mixture.
- Place the soaked cedar plank on the grill for 3-5 minutes until it starts to smoke.
- Place the salmon on the cedar plank skin-side down.
- Close the grill lid and cook for 12-15 minutes until salmon flakes easily.
- Optional: Sprinkle fresh dill before serving.

- Use wild-caught salmon for better flavor.
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the salmon.
