Description

Delicious stuffed shells filled with seasoned meat and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 20 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  4. In a bowl, mix the cooked beef, ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stuff each pasta shell with the meat mixture.
  6. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. Place the stuffed shells on top of the sauce.
  8. Pour remaining marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • Use any ground meat of your choice.
  • Can substitute marinara sauce with alfredo sauce.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
