  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Olives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Remove stems from mushrooms and chop them finely.
  3. In a skillet, sauté the chopped stems, garlic, and sausage until cooked.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mozzarella, green onions, sautéed mixture, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stuff each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture.
  6. Place stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden.
  8. Top each mushroom with an olive to resemble an eyeball.
