Description

A delicious stuffed Italian meatloaf filled with savory flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Spread half of the meat mixture onto a baking sheet.
  5. Layer mozzarella cheese and half of the marinara sauce on top.
  6. Cover with remaining meat mixture and shape into a loaf.
  7. Spread the remaining marinara sauce over the top.
  8. Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through.
  9. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Serve with extra marinara sauce on the side.
  • Can be made ahead and reheated.
