Delicious spicy chicken tacos made in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of chicken breast
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 12 small tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breast in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle taco seasoning over the chicken.
  3. Add salsa, onion, bell pepper, and garlic.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks.
  6. Warm tortillas in a skillet.
  7. Fill tortillas with shredded chicken.
  8. Top with cheese, sour cream, and cilantro.

  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Serve with lime wedges.
