Description
A traditional Dominican stew made with a variety of meats and vegetables.
Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 lb beef, cut into pieces
- 1 lb pork, cut into pieces
- 2 ears of corn, cut into pieces
- 2 medium plantains, sliced
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 medium carrot, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 tsp oregano
- 6 cups water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, add the chicken, beef, and pork.
- Add water and bring to a boil.
- Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add corn, plantains, potatoes, carrot, and oregano.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for another 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables as desired.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
