Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, cocoa, flour, vanilla, and salt.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
  6. Blend raspberries and swirl into the remaining batter.
  7. Pour the raspberry batter over the first layer and swirl gently.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Cool before cutting into squares.
