Description

Omurice is a popular Japanese dish that combines fried rice with an omelet.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup peas and carrots
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Sauté onion until translucent.
  3. Add chicken and cook until no longer pink.
  4. Stir in peas and carrots, then add cooked rice.
  5. Mix in ketchup and soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and season with salt.
  7. Pour eggs into a pan to make an omelet.
  8. Place the fried rice on one half of the omelet and fold over.
  9. Serve with extra ketchup on top.
