Description

Mint Oreo truffles are a delicious no-bake dessert made with crushed Oreos and cream cheese, coated in chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies (15.35 oz)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract

Instructions

  1. Crush Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine.
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and peppermint extract until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  5. Melt chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
  6. Dip each truffle in the melted chocolate and place back on the baking sheet.
  7. Let the chocolate set in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Notes

  • Store truffles in an airtight container in the fridge.
  • You can use white chocolate for a different flavor.
  • Add crushed peppermint candies on top for extra crunch.
