- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into meatballs.
- In a skillet, brown the meatballs on all sides.
- Spread mashed potatoes in a baking dish.
- Add meatballs on top of the mashed potatoes.
- Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.
Notes
- You can use pre-made mashed potatoes for convenience.
- Try adding vegetables to the dish for extra nutrition.
