Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 2 hamburger buns
  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup sliced cucumbers
  • 1/4 cup sliced carrots
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
  2. Marinate the chicken thighs in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Grill the chicken over medium heat for about 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  4. While the chicken cooks, mix gochujang and mayonnaise in a small bowl.
  5. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Assemble the sandwich by placing grilled chicken on a bun, adding cabbage, cucumbers, and carrots.
  7. Spread the gochujang mayonnaise on top and close the sandwich.
