Ingredients

- 3–4 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 inches ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a large Dutch oven, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add onions, garlic, and ginger; sauté until softened.
- Stir in spices and salt; cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the roast and sear on all sides.
- Cover and transfer to the oven.
- Roast for 3-4 hours until tender.
- Remove from oven; let rest before slicing.
- Garnish with cilantro before serving.
Notes
- Serve with rice or naan.
- Adjust spices based on heat preference.
- Leftovers taste even better the next day.
