Ingredients

- 1 cup brown rice
- 4 cups almond milk
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse the brown rice under cold water.
- In a pot, combine the rice, almond milk, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 35-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add raisins if using and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
- Reheat with a splash of almond milk.
- Adjust sweetness to your preference.
