Description

A delicious bread infused with eggnog flavor and topped with a sweet glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix butter and sugar until creamy.
  3. Add eggs, eggnog, and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Stir until just combined.
  6. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before glazing.
