Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and cook ground beef until browned.
  4. Add marinara sauce to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Spread a layer of meat sauce in a baking dish.
  7. Layer 3 lasagna noodles, then spread ricotta mixture, followed by mozzarella cheese.
  8. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with meat sauce and mozzarella on top.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
