Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup brewed coffee
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Add flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Stir in brewed coffee.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool completely.
  9. For frosting, mix powdered sugar, milk, and instant coffee until smooth.
  10. Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies.
