Description
A rich and creamy chocolate sorbet that is easy to make at home.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves.
- Add cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until smooth.
- Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer sorbet to a container and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Store sorbet in an airtight container.
- Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
