Description

Delicious chocolate chip cookie cheesecake bars with a creamy filling and a cookie crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until combined.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. Press half of the cookie dough into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  6. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cookie layer.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining cookie dough on top of the cream cheese layer.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
  • Use more chocolate chips for a richer flavor.
  • Let the bars cool completely for easier cutting.
