Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 3 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  6. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
  7. Add half of the shredded chicken on top of the ricotta.
  8. Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  9. Repeat the layers ending with the last 3 noodles, marinara sauce, and remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  11. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • Add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrients.
  • Let the lasagna sit for better slicing.
