- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 3 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
- Add half of the shredded chicken on top of the ricotta.
- Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers ending with the last 3 noodles, marinara sauce, and remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrients.
- Let the lasagna sit for better slicing.
