Ingredients

- 1 cup stone-ground grits
- 4 cups water
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup crab meat
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil in a pot.
- Stir in grits and reduce heat. Cook until thickened.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add garlic and green onions. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink.
- Stir in crab meat, heavy cream, and chicken broth.
- Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for a few minutes.
- Serve shrimp mixture over grits.

- Use fresh shrimp for best flavor.

- Can substitute crab meat with canned if fresh is unavailable.
