Caprese Stuffed Chicken: 7 Steps to Pure Deliciousness

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, diced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cut a pocket into each chicken breast.
  4. Stuff each pocket with the cheese mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  6. Sear each chicken breast for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  7. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
