Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/2 cup bourbon BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, onion, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix in crumbled bacon.
  4. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and brush with bourbon BBQ sauce.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheddar on top.
  9. Return to oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, until cheese melts.
